Teenagers and young adults are often not conscious of their online behavior, often resulting in unwanted consequences. Together with Dropstuff.nl, we developed a game called Like it or not! <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The game is played in primary and secondary schools as a part of a 70-90 minute workshop. The game touches upon themes like bullying, sexual harassment, discrimination, threats, and hacking. The game allows young people to experience how actions in the digital world also affect the real world. An important part of the game is the evaluation after they play a round of the game. This enables a shared experience that can then be discussed to create a deeper and tangible understanding of the consequences of online behavior. The Municipality of Amersfoort initiated the development of the game. The game has been was used since 2014 and was played multiple successive years by 5000 secondary school students.<\/p>\n\n\n
<div
